East Creek Union play authentic songs and tunes from the traditional old time Appalachian repertoire that will get your feet tapping and maybe even inspire some spontaneous jigs and reels!
The band was formed as a duo by Bob (fiddle) and Scott (banjo, vocals)around 2013, and won an award for best newcomers at Purbeck. They were subsequently joined by Pete (bass) and Lexy (ukulele, vocals).
Since then East Creek Union have enjoyed playing at many major folk and Americana events including Folk East, Red Rooster, Maverick, Orwell Bluegrass and Broadstairs Folk Week.
