The Trio Project (working name for this performance) are Finn Talisker Rawlings (Piano), Cameron Conn (Drums & Percussion) and Toby Freeman (Bass).
The duo version of the band started as a passion project for Finn and Cameron. Finn was greatly inspired by the challenging complexity of Hiromi Uehara’s music (Hiromi). Finn introduced the work to Cameron and the Duo was formed.
Both Finn and Cameron began their musical studies at Leeds Conservatoire in September 2020 and soon uplifted the duo to a trio with the addition of Toby Freeman on bass.
The Soundcheck performance will included a mix of originals and interpretations of Hiromi’s work.
