SOUNDCHECK featuring MALONE SIBUN

live at The Old Firestation, Frome
Saturday 14th December 2019

Two forces of nature join together for a musical experience not to be missed. MARCUS MALONE AND INNES SIBUN are Rockin the Blues

Marcus Malone, the former UA and Motown, Motorcity artist had a diverse hard rock and soul background, before he settled in a blues/rock and direction and relocated to the UK.

He played the Albert Hall with BB King and quickly established himself as a top flight blues rocker with a handful of excellent albums.

Innes Sibun made his first album with legendary producer Mike Vernon who produced the John Mayall/Eric Clapton Beano album as well as all the Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac albums.

He played guitar for Robert Plant on his “Fate of Nations” tour throughout America, Europe & South America & can be heard on Robert’s “Sixty six to Timbuktu” album as well as on a track on his box set “Nine lives”. Since then he’s played and jammed with just about everyone who is anyone in blues including Buddy Guy & James Cotton, Tommy Shannon, Chris Layton, Chris Duarte & many other legends of the Austin blues scene.

Marcus Malone – ‘Not only does Innes have shades of my favourite guitar players – Jimmy Page, Hendrix and Paul Kossoff – but he also has the soulful approach and the dynamics of BB and Albert King’

Innes Sibun – ‘Listening to Marcus Malone I hear echo’s of two of my favourite singers, Paul Rodgers, Otis Redding and early David Coverdale, but above all it’s Marcus’s own unmistakable style & delivery.

It’s gonna be a great night of blues guitar !!!
