Concrete Prairie

United by a love of all things Folk, Indie & Americana, Concrete Prairie are a five-piece ensemble delivering a soundtrack for the glamour and grit of modern living. While their compositions tackle themes such as mental well-being, loss and hardships, the songs are shot through with hope, evidenced by a spirited and rousing sound orchestrated with twanging guitars, straining fiddle and yearning prose.

Their electric live performances sit somewhere between Alt-Country, Folk & Rock, whether they are grooving on the cathartic, rootsy stomp of their own “Bury My Blues”, navigating the majestic meanderings of the Folk & Country catalogue; or channelling spaghetti western soundtracks on their eight minute epic “The Devil Dealt The Deck”, the band invite you to get lost in a world where hearts pound proudly upon sleeve.

After appearing at the Bath Americana Fest and on a wave of support from BBC Introducing, the quintet released their debut album – recorded at Real World studios with John Reynolds (Indigo Girls, Damien Dempsey, Sinead O’Connor) – in September 2022 to huge acclaim from Americana UK & RnR Magazine.
